I recently started following Zuzii Footwear because of their ridiculously adorable baby shoes...I couldn't afford shoes like that, but there was no harm in dreaming!! About a week ago while I was doing the usual Instagram surfing, I came upon a post by Zuzii Footwear about this INSANE giveaway from 17 participants. I immediately wished and hoped we would win it...but I knew we wouldn't, so I kept scrolling down. I just couldn't stop thinking about all of the perfect little treasures that I saw in the giveaway. I scrolled back up to the giveaway post...clicked on it...stared at it some more...and finally gave in. What the heck?...Might as well...Can't win if I don't at least try. I followed all of the participants and reposted the picture to enter us. I just kept imagining how amazing it would be if we won. A few days went by, and giveaway posts were popping up left and right on my Instagram feed. Mannnnn....there's about a kazillion people who entered to win...no way it'll be us. A few days later, Sunday morning rolls around. I was still basically asleep when I checked my phone, and I noticed a direct message on Instagram...I never get those. So, I cautiously clicked on it...thinking it was some crazy person or spam...and I see this:
No way. This is fake...or is it? WAIT A MINUTE. OH MY GOSH!! ANDY! OH MY GOSH! WE WON!! OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH.MY.GOSH.
After I started bawling and blubbering to Andy about the contest and that of all the people who entered, me and Amelia WON...I immediately responded, letting Karianne (the sweetest lady EVER from Free and Wild Child Blog) know that we were real people and that I was too excited for words about being chosen.
This giveaway is worth well over $1000...which is obviously something I would not be able to afford to give Amelia on my own. The prizes are beautiful. All of the shops and owners included are just so caring and sweet and giving. We even get to pick what we want from the shops!! As if the things in the giveaway's pictures aren't amazing enough?!
We're so undeserving of winning this and I can't even explain the feeling I get when I think about the reality...THAT WE WON. It may not seem important to some, but this means so much to us. Amelia is my everything, and I would give her the world if I could. Being able to give her such perfect, nice, amazing, high-quality gifts (that we otherwise would still only be dreaming of and drooling over) is something I can't even say thank you enough for. We are SO BLESSED and SO LUCKY and SO, SO VERY GRATEFUL that this happened to us. I'm about to cry/laugh just thinking about how exciting this is! Haha!!
Of course once we receive all of the items I'll post tons of pictures...So be ready!!!
